JV SERIAL NUMBER NECK PLATE
VERY SPECIAL GUITAR BASED PN THE 1957 FENDER SPEC.
The now discontinued Japanese Vintage or 'JV' Squiers have become extremely sought-after due to their sterling build-quality and limited availability.
They are replicas of '57 and '62 Strats, and are considered to be extremely faithful, nigh point-for-point recreations of pre-CBS Fenders, which now fetch prices in excess of £20,000.
Do not be fooled by the Squier logo, these Strats are as good as any U.S.A - made vintage Fenders.

The frets are in excellent condition!
There are many small dings around the body, most aren’t through paint other than one at the base. Some lacquer cracks at the neck pocket as usual and all wear & tear commensurate with age, bear in mind this guitar is 42yrs old!
Non original tremolo arm- USA one fitted.
A locking nut has been fitted at some time leaving screw holes as photographed.
Plays superbly well, all electrics are perfect!
