The Fender Player Telecaster, seen here in a dazzling Polar White and sporting a Pau Ferro fretboard, is a new standard for Fender’s workhorse electric guitar.
Raising the Standard
With the Fender Standard series being put out to pasture, the Fender Player series is here to take its place, boasting improved specs and a range of new colours.
Looking great with sound to match, the Fender Telecaster is used in all manner of music genres and has remained hugely popular with guitarists (and their audiences) since it was first launched in 1950.
Fender Player Telecaster PF Polar White Key Features:
Satin Finish Maple Neck
9.5” Radius Pau Ferro Fretboard
New Player Series Single-Coil Pickup
6-Saddle Strings-Through-Body Tele Bridge
Bent Steel Saddles
3-Way Pickup Switching
Timeless Telecaster Body
Although it has been on the market for around 70 years, the Fender Telecaster still captivates guitarists and audiences alike with its unique look.
But the distinctive single cutaway design of the Telecaster body shape isn’t just for looks as it provides easy reach of the higher frets. This increased access is essential for those wailing guitar solos.
To form the body, Fender have chosen to user Alder as it is known for its bright, balanced tone and excellent sustain.
Easy to Play Satin Finished Neck
The Maple neck of the Fender Player Telecaster has a modern “C” shape and a satin finish so it is very comfortable and easy to play.
Thanks to its modern 9.5” radius and medium jumbo frets, you’ll find that the Pau Ferro fretboard also adds to the comfort and playability.
Furthermore; the gloss face headstock is emblazoned with a ‘50s style spaghetti logo – a great tribute to the origins of this fabulous guitar and the era which birthed it.
Quality Hardware and New Player Series Electronics
On the body of the Player Telecaster, there’s a strings-through-body bridge. This quality made piece of hardware provides great intonation while enhancing sustain thanks to its strings-through design.
Up on the headstock, you’ll find six sealed machine heads providing precise and secure tuning of your strings.
Giving the Fender Player Telecaster its awesome voice is a set of New Player Series single-coil pickups.
A hotter pickup in the bridge position allows you to get some searing lead tones while the chrome covered neck pickup gives you something a little softer and more rounded.
Using the three-position blade you can choose how you want to use these pickups, selecting either pickup individually or a combination of the two.
Master Volume and Master Tone controls are also at head in the form of knurled flat-top knobs giving you the ability to quickly dial in your preferred sound.
Be Part of The Legend
Originally introduced to the world in 1950, the Telecaster has been in production ever since, proving itself to be one of the most popular and enduring electric guitars of all time.
Including such huge names as Brad Paisley, Jeff Buckley and Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, the list of Fender Telecaster players reads like a hall of fame.
Suitable for whatever genre of music you can throw at it, the Fender Telecaster is a true workhorse.
Buy the Fender Player Telecaster now and see why the Tele is still so popular after all these decades.
