This guitar, is an absolute DREAM having been purchased from an early member of the band ELO, yes, ELO! This G&L has been absolutely cherished. For a 30yr old instrument, it’s nothing short of exceptional!
Condition wise, there’s some tarnishing on the pickups and hardware, and a few patches of the gloss have dulled a little however, no damage to mention and the frets are in excellent shape. The guitar plays superbly well with a setup that I’d describe as perfect.
The hard case included isn’t the best, but it does the job!

This was the model of guitar that Jack Pearson used to fantastic effect in the 98/99 Allman Bros Band tour.Nice crispy single coil that converts to hum bucker.

What’s more, the Legacy Special features a Leo Fender-designed Dual-Fulcrum vibrato, a work of engineering art which allows bending up or down with unsurpassed stability, while offering a silky feel through its beefy aluminum vibrato arm. The Legacy Specials’s hard-rock maple neck features an easy-playing satin finish, while its 12” radius lets you bend notes deeply and its medium-jumbo nickel frets deliver silky playability.
Founded by Leo Fender in 1980, G&L USA instruments continue to be made in the historic G&L facility on Fender Avenue in Fullerton, California, the Birthplace of Bolt-on™.
